We ordered through Ubereats and I'm happy that this place was highly recommended. The food was perfect! We hate oily food and everything was cooked to perfection without heavy oil! And the chicken was fried so lightly I was truly amazed! I didn't even need to squeeze the chicken with paper towel which is usually what I have to do with other restaurants. Keep up the good work!
This is the only place we have gone to for Chinese food since about 2003. The food was superb back then and seemed pretty authentic. I even took a friend from California to eat there and she said it was the best Chinese food she had eaten since she moved to the east coast. However, on recent years it seemed the food became more oily and they started to skimp on the amount of meat in the servings. Right before the revamp they changed the delicious light crispy spring rolls to some fat oily egg - type rolls - - terrible! Now after the revamp the food is more consistent. The meat servings seem generous and oiliness is not much of an issue. However, it feels like they lost their soul in the revamp. For sure the menu was streamlined and they no longer make chow fun noodles - - my favorite. It's still the only Chinese place we go to, but that's mostly because we haven't tried to find another place (lazy). The steam table is a good deal with good hot food at the ready to quickly fill your hungry belly.
Original Number one is the best Chinese I have ever had in my opinion. The new restaurant is very diverse and I am always greeted with employees who are eager to take my order and make sure my experience is a good one. The staff is fun and they always repeat my order and make sure I have the right sauces and drinks accordingly. The Express Buffett is easy, fast and the portions/serving sizes are perfect. This place is great and in time will make a lot of progress in the future.
I ordered food for delivery. The food was cold and taste old like it was from the buffet not cooked fresh . Yuk i normally eat in and food is good. Dry chicken ..fast service. If i get delivery i should get fresh food.
